I’m disappointed. I’m really not satisfied with my new IBM (Lenovo) X41. I inserted an Ubuntu Breezy installation CD and installed the default desktop system. Everything, really everything is functioning properly! Bluetooth, wlan, the internal modem, sound, the fn-keys, etc. That can’t be true, I installed Linux on a notebook?! Even in my standard desktop system some components are not fully supported by Linux. The only thing in the X41 I haven’t tested yet is the SD card slot. I don’t have an SD card. My digicam only has a XD card which is, by the way, not supported by most card readers.
